Safety Security Window Films London Kent
By applying a Safety window film to your glass you can protect you, your family or your business from shattered glass, intruders, bomb blasts and much more.
We Supply London and Kent Businesses with Safety Window Film
Optically clear, colourless and undetectable on glass, safety films maintain the natural appearance of your windows day or night. The resilient layers of high tensile polyester and aggressive adhesives provide exceptional impact resistant capabilities.
We also offer an edge retention system for added safety and security that can match your existing window frames.
Installation is surprisingly non-disruptive and mess free.
If you’re unsure how safe your glass is, we can carry out a survey and advice on the best safety film for your needs.
Regulation 14
The key document in question is the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992. Within that legislation lies Regulation 14 which requires employers to ensure that glass within critical locations throughout their premises have been fully risk assessed to ensure it qualifies as impact-safe or safe-breaking and clearly marked with manifestations.
Every piece of critically located glass in walls, partitions, doors and gates is affected, and as is often the case failure to comply can meet with litigation, however the wording of the regulation is complex and can be very difficult to interpret for anyone not dealing with it on a very regular basis.
We can apply clear safety film to existing windows to ensure they comply with regulation 14.
It’s a minefield that catches many victims and the only way to be sure you’re compliant and properly protecting your staff and customers is to utilise professional help; we carry out full Regulation 14 surveys advising you on your compliance levels and what we can do to help you improve.

* Infrared rejection = 1 - average unweighted transmittance using ASTM E 903. **Tdw-ISO is the percentage of transmitted light that causes fading. A lower number means more protection against fading.
